Length of a rectangle the is 10 meter more than its breadth.If perimeter of the rectangle is 120 meter then length and breadth of the rectangle respectively will be:

Let the breadth of rectangle be x m
So, length of the rectangle = (x + 10) m
Now, perimeter of rectangle = 2 (x + x+10)
= 2 ( 2x + 10 ) = 4x + 20
Perimeter of the rectangle is 120 meter [Given]
So, 4x + 20 = 120
4x = 100
x = 25
So, breadth of rectangle = 25 m
length of the rectangle = 35 m
