If $2\pi$ angle is made from one revolution i.e.60 minute

$\therefore$ 60 min $=2\pi$

$\therefore$ 35 min $=\frac{2\pi }{60}\times 35=\frac{7\pi }{5}=\frac{7\times 180}{5}$

$={252}^{\circ }$

$\therefore$ length of minute hand or radius $=5cm$

$\therefore$ Area of the sector $=\frac{1}{2}{r}^2\theta =\frac{1}{2}\times 5\times 5\times 252$

$=25\times 126$

$=3150c{m}^2$
