The correct option is A7.07cm AC=10cm We know that all sides of a square are equal. ∴AB=BC=CD=DA And each angle measures 90o. ∴∠ABC=∠BCD=∠CDA=∠DAB=90o Now, in right angles ΔABC AC2=AB2+BC2 (By Pythagorean theorem) ⇒102=AB2+AB2 ⇒100=2AB2 ⇒1002=AB2 ⇒AB2=50 AB=√50=7.07(approx.)
