The correct option is A 7.07cm
AC=10cm
We know that all sides of a square are equal.
AB=BC=CD=DA
And each angle measures 90o.
ABC=BCD=CDA=DAB=90o
Now, in right angles ΔABC
AC2=AB2+BC2
(By Pythagorean theorem)
102=AB2+AB2
100=2AB2
1002=AB2
AB2=50
AB=50=7.07(approx.)
Since all the sides of a square are equal, therefore, AB=BC=CD=DA=7.07cm(approx.)
