Question

Lenses law is an example of law of conservation of energy. Explain.

Solution

According to the Lenz's law, the direction of the induced current in the conducting loop is such that it opposes the cause which produces it. So, work has to be done against the opposing force. This work done results in the periodic change in the magnetic flux thus, more current is induced. therefore, the extra work done is transformed into electrical energy which shows the law of conservation of energy.
