Open in App
Solution

A={1,2,3,4,5,6,7}
B={2,3,5,7}
C={2}
(AB)×C=(A×C)(B×C)
AB={1,2,3,4,5,6,7}{2,3,5,7}
={2,3,5,7}
(AB)×C={2,3,5,7}×{2}
={(2,2)(3,2)(5,2)(7,2)}.(1)
A×C={1,2,3,4,5,6,7}×{2}
={(1,2)(2,2)(3,2)(4,2)(5,2)(6,2)(7,2)}
B×C={2,3,5,7}×{2}
={(2,2)(3,2)(5,2)(7,2)}
(A×C)(B×C)={(2,2)(3,2)(5,2)(7,2)}.(2)
From (1) and (2) we get
(AB)×C=(A×C)(B×C)
