x2+y2=r2 is a circle with centre at (0, 0) and radius r units.


Any arbitrary point P on it is (r cos θ,r sin θ) choosing
A and B as (-r, 0) and (0, -r), respectively.
For the locus of the centroid of ΔABP,
(r cos θr3,r sin θr3)(x,y)r cos θr=3x and r sin θr=3yor r cos θ=3x+r and r sin θ=3y+r
Squaring and adding, we get (3x+r)2+(3y+r)2=r2, which is a circle.
