The correct option is A -2,-32
From the given equations α+β=1 and αβ=p
Similarly, γ+δ=4 and γδ=q;(p,qZ)
α,β,γ and δ are in G.P with common ratio r
α+αr=1α(1+r)=1(1)
And αr2+αr3=4αr2(1+r)=4(2)
On solving eqn (1) and (2)
r2=4r=±2
If r=2, α+2α=1α=13
If r=-2, α2α=1α=1
But p=αβZr=2 and α=1
p=2,q=α2r5=1(2)5=32
