The correct option is C 10ms1
As given, let α be the acceleration of object A and β be the deceleration of object B.
Let these 2 objects meet (have same displacement ) in time t1
So, by equating the equations for their displacements, we get
5t1+0.5 α t21 = 15t10.5 β t21
Or (α+β)t1=20
Now, as given,
vAandvB are the velocities of objects A and B when they meet.
so, vA=uA+α t1 vA=5+α t1
and vB=uBβ t1 vB=15β t1
Subtracting above two equations, we get
vAvB = 10 + (β+α) t1 = 10+20 = 10m/sec Option B
