Let f be a function such that f : x2x2+3. Then f(2)+f(2)=

Open in App
Solution

Given, f(x)=2x2+3
f(1)=2(1)2+3=2(1)+3=2+3=5
f(2)=2(2)2+3=2(4)+3=8+3=11
f(3)=2(3)2+3=2(9)+3=18+3=21
Now, f(1)+f(2)=5+11=16 which is not equal to f(3).
Also f(2)=2((2)2)+3=2(4)+3=8+3=11.
Thus, the value of f(2)+f(2)=11+11=22 is not equal to 0.
