Given, f(x)=3x+1 .....(1) and

g(x)=x2+2 ......(2).

Now,

(fog)(x)

=f[g(x)]

=f(x2+2) [ Using (2)]

=3(x2+2)+1 [ Using (1)]

=3x2+7.
