Number of adjacent lines = n
Number of non adjacent lines = ${}^n{C}_2-n$
$\therefore {}^n{C}_2-n=n\Rightarrow \frac{n(n-1)}{2}-2n=0\Rightarrow n^2-5n=0\Rightarrow$ n = 0 or 5
But $n\ge 2\Rightarrow n=5$
