Solution

The correct option is C z=43(cb)

x+y+z=a
Taking dot product with a,
ax+ay+az=aa=|a|2=4
az=43274=34

Now, taking dot product with x and y simultaneously,
x(x+y+z)=xa=ax=32
xy+xz=12 (1)

Similarly, y(x+y+z)=ya=ay=74
xy+yz=34 (2)

|x+y+z|2=|a|2
3+2(xy+yz+zx)=4
xy+yz+zx=12 (3)

From (1) and (3), we get
yz=0
From (2) and (3), we get
xz=14
From (3), we get
xy=34

Now, x×(y×z)=b
(xz)y(xy)z=b
14y34z=b (4)

Also, (x×y)×z=c
14y=c
y=4c
So, from (4), z=43(cb)
