R is reflexive since |aa|=012aR.
Also, R is symmetric as |ab|12
|ba|12
But R is not transitive.
e.g.: If we take three numbers 34,13,18 then 3413=51212 and 1318=52412
But 3418=58>12
Thus, 34R13 and 13R18 but 37R18.
