Solution

The correct option is A

36

Explanation for the correct answer :

Finding number of elements in R×SS×R.

Given, R={x|xN,x is a multiple of 3,x100},

S={x|xN,x is a multiple of 5,x100}.

So, R=3,6,9,12,15,,99S=5,10,15,20,25,,100

Using property of set operation,
a×bc×d=(ab)×cd

Thus, R×SS×R=(RS)×SR(1)

Now finding, RS=15,30,45,60,75,90=6 elements

SR=15,30,45,60,75,90=6

Substitute the value in equation 1 , we get

R×SS×R=6×6=36 elements

Thus, the total number of elements is 36.

Hence, the correct option is (A)
