Number of triangle that can be formed using polygon of n sided =nC3

According to question,

n+1C3nC3=21

(n+1)(n)(n1)6n(n1)(n2)6=21

3(n)(n1)6=21

(n)(n1)=42

Solving this equation we get n=6,7

But n can't be negative

Hence, n=7.
