Let the two numbers be a,b Given that 2ab(a+b)(√ab)=45 ⇒5√ab=2(a+b) ⇒25ab=4a2+8ab+4b2 ⇒4a2−17ab+4b2=0 i.e. 4a2−16ab−ab+4b2=0 i.e. (4a−b)(a−4b)=0 i.e. ab=0.25 or 4 Since we need larger number divided by smaller number, the answer becomes 4.
