Open in App
Solution

Let the two numbers be a,b
Given that 2ab(a+b)(ab)=45
5ab=2(a+b)
25ab=4a2+8ab+4b2
4a217ab+4b2=0
i.e. 4a216abab+4b2=0
i.e. (4ab)(a4b)=0
i.e. ab=0.25 or 4
Since we need larger number divided by smaller number, the answer becomes 4.
