The correct option is A sin1(312)
Since the emergent ray grazes the surface, e=90

Applying Snell's law at the second surface gives,

μsinr2=1

r2=45

Also in a prism r1+r2=A

Thus r1=15

Applying Snell's law at the firs surface gives

sini=μsinr1

sini=2(3122)=312

Hence i=sin1(312)
