1) Metals are lustrous , but non metals do not have shiny surface and are non lustrous.
2) Metals are ductile .ie. can be converted into thin wires. But non metals are non ductile.
3) Metals are malleable .i.e. can be converted into thin sheets. But non metals are non malleable.
4) Metals are sonorous .i.e produces a ringing sound. But non metals are not sonorous.
5) Metals are good conductor of electricity. But non metals are poor conductor of electricity.
