Alternative sources of energy are needed to stop global warming. Due to the rising population, the energy needs keep rising. For any nation to sustain its development, energy needs must be satisfied.

Hence we cannot keep relying on thermal power plants which contribute to global warming. Moreover coal is a non-renewable resource, hence we need to look at alternative sources of energy like solar, wind, hydro and nuclear energy which will not only help in meeting the energy requirements but also help in reducing pollution and global warming.
