Definition of Megalithic burials
Grave goods
Memorial burials
Solution:
The Iron Age is also known as the Megalithic period since during this period people marked burials of dead people with large stones (called megaliths).
Within these burials, the skeletons or a few bones of the dead persons were placed along with grave goods including iron objects, carnelian beads, and bronze objects. People may have believed that these would be useful in the after-life.
Some of the burials do not have any human bones and they have only the grave goods. They may be called memorial burials because they were built in the memory of a person whose last remains may not have been found.
