Solution

The correct options are
A

Very high resistance of wire

C

Material of the wire

The melting of a fuse wire depends on,

1. The material of the wire i.e. its melting point has to be low so that it melts for any high current flowing through it. In other words, the material with low melting point is normally chosen for a fuse wire.

2. High resistance of the wire gives rise to more heating due to collision of charges within the conductor. This leads to rise in temperature and then melting of a wire.

The melting of a fuse does not depends on colour of the wire at any point and low resistance (less heating due to less collision within the charges)
