INDIAN CARP
Indian carp is also called as Indian major carp.
It is a common name for several species of fish and commonly may refer to the following species now raised in aquaculture in South Asia and other Asian countries where they have been introduced.
For example, Catla Catla is an Indian carp. It is an economically important South Asian freshwater fish of the carp family. Cirrhinus cirrhosus or mrigal, is an Indian carp, a ray-finned fish of the carp family native to rivers in India.
