  3. In males, it generally occurs between 12 to 16 years.
  4. Changes that occur in the male body during puberty are:
    1. Growth of hair in armpits, pubic area, and chest.
    2. Growth and development of the reproductive organs (penis, and scrotum enclosing the testes).
    3. Shoulder becomes wider and muscle mass increases.
    4. Growth of facial hairs (beard).
    5. Overall increase in body weight.
    6. Voice becomes deeper and hoarse.
