The following steps have taken by the government to uplift the weaker sections of the society:

• Education for all – Government has taken initiative to open schools, colleges to cater to children as well as the adults who are interested to study further.
• Health Sector- Healthcare services are facilitated in different parts of the country to fulfill the need of the people and provide a healthy lifestyle.
• Mid-day Meal programs in primary school in all urban and rural areas is started to focus on the quantified nutrition of the children.
• Housing Loans – The interest rates have drawn to a minimum so that the weaker sections of the society could afford the house in their budget.
• Reservations are given in all most all the sectors to uplift their economic conditions and have a fair chance to live life.
• Safe drinking water and electricity is also being provided by the government.
• There are a number of government yojnas and policies that work in the upliftment of the girl child and women to give them a better life.
• It has also given a chance to women to stand in the parliament and be the leader to work for the betterment of the society.
