  1. Acetic acid is the main component of vinegar, which is used in salad dressings and a lot of other dishes.
  2. Dilute Sulphuric acid is the electrolyte used in the lead-acid batteries in your car.
  3. Citric acid is found in citrus fruits (like lemons, limes, and oranges), and contributes to their tart, sour flavour. It is also produced in the body during the breakdown of glucose (the citric acid cycle)
  4. Hydrochloric acid is produced naturally in the stomach to break down food, and is the major component of gastric acid, along with enzymes like pepsin.
