Noise pollution is caused by unwanted high-pitched sound which causes physiological and psychological damage.

Two major effects of noise pollution are:

  1. Long exposure to constant loud noise can cause impairment of hearing and in some cases might lead to loss of hearing ability.
  2. Unwanted sound causes an increase in heartbeat, nausea, stress, anxiety, and constriction of blood vessels leading to an increase in blood pressure.
