Dear student. According to the law of mixing, Like dissolves like i.e polar compound dissolve polar and non-polar one dissolve non polar. Thus, LiCl is a covalent compound so its tends to show high solubility in alcohol as alcohol is also covalent in nature whereas NaCl ionic compound in nature and does not dissolve in alcohol. Regards.
