coshθ=eθ+eθ2 ...(i)
Similarly sinhθ=eθeθ2 ...(ii)
Adding both gives us
coshθ+sinhθ=eθ And

x=aeθ
Similarly y=b(coshθsinhθ)

Multiplying both gives us
