i> Mean = Sum of observationsNumber of observations

= 3+4+2+5+4+3+2+4+3+2010

= 5010

= 5

ii> Median -

Arranging the numbers in ascending order we get :

2,2,3,3,3,4,4,4,5,20

Since, number of terms is even = 10, median will be the average of the 5th and 6th observation

Median = 3+42 = 3.5

iii> Looking at the given data , we can see that the median in this case gives a better idea about the average

as the mean calculation has a term 20 which is much above the rest of the numbers and doesn't give an idea about the majority.
