Solution

Disclaimer: This is a sample answer. Students are advised to write the answer based on their own experiences and observation.

(i) It means that even if the result of your difficult time is happy, then it can compensate the difficult situation you went through.
An example that relates to this proverb when you pass your examination with a good score even when you were suffering from bad health.

(ii) There were only 15 days left for my final exam. I was extremely tensed about how would I be able to sit for examination. The temperature of my body was increasing at an exponential rate. My parents were also tensed about my health. It was my grandmother who motivated me to study hard in those days. She took care of me at every point of time. She made me sleep on time. I tried to study for at least 3-4 hours. Finally, the day of my examination came. I was allowed to give my exams from home under strict observance. When the results were announced, I came to know that I had scored a good percentage. I was relieved to hear the good news.
