Yes I agree with the statement.Low employment among women indicates the Social and economic backwardness of the nation.Low employment among women occur due to several factors such as:
1.Social environment-Social environment is a major reason for the lower women employment ratee.An individual's life is highly influenced by their social condtions such as healthy living conditions, good sanitation facilities etc..
2. Education-Employment and education are highly related by providing education a nation can easily ensure the development of women which also includes the employment rate.
3. Disparity in income-Usually there is a trend of providing wages or salaries on gender basis.Lower income may not increase the employment rate.
4.Availability of resources-More educational institutions in rural areas would steadily increase the employment rate among women as it is highly noticed that rural areas lack educational facilities.
5. Gender disparity-Gender disparity is still visible in the society in various forms.Reducing this would attract more women to come to forefront .
