Lymph plays an important role in protecting immune system of the body. Justify this statement.

The lymph is the fluid which circulates in the lymphatic system. The fluid contains an abundant number of the B-cells, T-cells, macrophages, neutrophils and the other immune cells. These immune cells are involved in providing immunity to the body. These cells are responsible for protecting the body against the diseases. The pathogenic organisms which enter in the lymphatic system are destroyed by these cells.
