On analysing the above graph, we can tabulate the temperatures of the two cities as shown below:


Thus,

Temperature difference at 3:00 a.m.: 63 − 18 = 45 °F
Temperature difference at 8:00 a.m.: 67 − 27 = 40 °F
Temperature difference at 1:00 p.m.: 72 − 31 = 41 °F
Temperature difference at 6:00 p.m.: 68 − 29 = 39 °F
Temperature difference at 11:00 p.m.: 65 − 25 = 40 °F
