2)field magnet: A field coil is an electromagnet used to generate a magnetic field in an electro-magnetic machine, typically a rotating electrical machine such as a motor or generator. It consists of a coil of wire through which a current flows.
3)Split rings:- The purpose of the split ring in to prevent the battery or power supply fromshorting out. and to reverse the current in the rotor coil when its magnetic moment is parallel to the magnetic field.
4)brushes:- A brush is a device which conducts current between stationary wires and moving parts, most commonly in a rotating shaft. Typical applications include electric motors, alternators and electric generators.
