Solution

The correct option is A

Nutrition

The main difference between plant and animal cell is that plant cells possess plastids called chloroplasts which are dedicated organelles to convert solar energy to chemical energy i.e. photosynthesis. This makes plants autotrophic i.e. they can make their own food. Animal cells, however, lack chloroplasts and depend on plants for their nutrition. Hence, they are heterotrophic.
