Make a frequency table from the following:
Given is the cumulative frequency for each interval. Since the given table is more than type, we can find the frequency of each class interval starting from bottom and subtracting each preceding value.
For example: More than 0 is 100 and more that 10 is 92.Therefore, frequency of the interval 0−10 will be 100−92=8. In a similar manner all the frequencies of the respective class interval can be found.
The following table represents the frequency table of number of students.
Class | Frequency | No. of students |
0−10 | 100−92=8 | 8 |
10−20 | 92−87=5 | 5 |
20−30 | 87−75=12 | 12 |
30−40 | 75−40=35 | 35 |
40−50 | 40−16=24 | 24 |
50−60 | 16−0=16 | 16 |
