Given $:$ The pattern is a circular pattern
$∴$ The required area $= π (R^{2} - r^{2})$
$= \frac{22}{7} ({17.5}^{2} - {7.5}^{2})$
$= \frac{22}{7} \times (17.5 + 7.5) (17.5 + 7.5)$
$= \frac{22}{7} \times 10 \times 25 = \frac{22 \times 250}{7} = 785.71 m m^{2}$
