Textile industry is an agro-based industry while as iron and steel is a mineral based industry.The textile industry uses cotton,silk as the raw materials while as the iron and the steel industry uses iron ore,coal,magnese and limestone as the raw materials.The other inputs in the process of the manufacturing are the cost of transportation of the finished goods.They are not properly following the environmental norms because they pollute air ,water,land and results into the degradation of the environment.
