Edible plants of family Solanaceae are Capsicum annum (lal mirch), tomato, raspberry, potato, brinjal, etc. They belong to category fruit category.
Edible plants of family Liliaceae are Allium cepa (onion), Allium sativum (garlic). Both of them are vegetables. Very few plants of family Liliaceae are edible, most of them are non-edible.
