Gloves:
Cost price of gloves = 100 dollars
Discount on gloves = 40%
So, discount amount on gloves =
40% of 100=40100×100 = 40 dollars

We know,
Selling price = Cost price − Discount

∴ Selling price of gloves = 100 − 40
= 60 dollars


Shoes:
Cost price of shoes = 150 dollars
Discount on shoes = 50%
So, discount amount on shoes =
50% of 150=50100×150 = 75 dollars

We know,
Selling price = Cost price − Discount

∴ Selling price of shoes = 150 − 75
= 75 dollars

Tessa has bought one pair of gloves and one pair of shoes.
