Step-2: Calculate work done by Marisol to lift the box (W2).

Marisol lifts the box to a shelf 1m above the ground. So, d=1m

Calculate force: F=m×g

Here, m is the mass of the box and g is gravity and substitute m=3kg and g=9.8Nkg:

F=3×9.8=29.4N

And,

W2=29.4×1=29.4J
