We can mark 30°, 60°, 90° using a protractor as shown below

If you observe the next division marked on the protractor is 40°, so there is an increase of 10° for the next marking.
So there will be an increase of 30° if we move from 30° to 60°.
Similalry there is an increase of 30° if we move from 60° to 90°. Thus 3 times 30° will make a 90.°
