Mark two points A and B, 6.4 cm apart. Construct the line of symmetry so that the points A and B are symmetric with respect to this line.

1. Draw a line AB of length 6.4cm
2. From A, using a compass of some length, draw an arc on both sides of the line AB
3. Using the same length of compass, draw arcs from B on both sides of the line AB
4. Draw a vertical line connecting the points of intersection of the arcs.
The line obtained is the required line of symmetry.
