Given,
Weight of a candy =50 grams.
Number of children around neighbourhood =40
Each child get one candy.

Weight of candies for 40 children =50×40=2000 grams.
We need to calculate the weight of candies in kilograms.

We know,
1000 gram = 1 kilograms.
1 gram =11000 kilograms.
2000 grams =20001000=2 kilograms.

Hence, Markrum will buy 2 kilograms of candy for children.
