Marks obtanied in Science and Mathematics = 85

It is represented in the pie chart by ( ${90}^{\circ }$+ ${80}^{\circ }$ ) i.e. ${170}^{\circ }$

As we know ,
Centre angle for the pie chart is ${360}^{\circ }$

${360}^{\circ }$ represents the total marks the student obtained.

${170}^{\circ }$ represents 85 marks.

$1^{\circ }$ represents $\frac{85}{170}$ marks

${360}^{\circ }$ represents $\frac{85}{170}\times 360$ marks

=180 marks

Hence , student got 180 marks as his total.
