Length = 8 cm, Breadth = 6 cm, Height = 2 cm.

The total surface area of the box
$=2(lb+bh+hl)$

$=2\left[\right(8\times 6)+(6\times 2)+(2\times 8\left)\right]$

$=152c{m}^2$

The area of each stamp

$=2\times 2c{m}^2$

$=4c{m}^2$

Therefore, number of stamps required = (total surface area of gift box/area of one stamp) = 38
