Case-1:
Speed $= 6 k m / h r$
Distance $= 12 k m$
$∴$ Time $= \frac{Distance}{Speed} = \frac{12}{6}$ $= 2$ hours
Case-2:
Speed $= 4 k m / h r$
Distance $= 12 k m$
$∴$ Time $= \frac{Distance}{Speed} = \frac{12}{4}$ $= 3$ hours
Hence, if the speed of the cycle is $6 k m / h r$ then, Marry will take $2$ hours and if the speed of the cycle is $4 k m / h r$ then, she will take $3$ hours to reach her Aunt’s house.
