Mass of a body =8.78 kg and
Volume of body =2.443 m3

Density=MassVolume=8.782.443=3.5939418 kg/m3

We know from the rule for multiplication, the final result should have as many significant figures as there are in the original number with the least significant figures.

Therefore, density will have three significant figures and we will round off it to get,
Density=3.59 kg/m3
