Question

Mass of an object on earth is 10 kg what will be its mass on the moon.Compare the weight of body on the earth to that on moon.(Given that acceleration it gravity on earth is six times of that on moon).

Mass on the moon will also equal to 10 kg.
Weight on earth = W1= mg = 10 g, where g is the acceleration due to gravity on earth .
Weight on moon = W2 = mg' = 10 (g/6), where g' is the acceleration due to gravity on moon = g/6.
So, W1/W2 = 6:1
